We turn ancestral knowledge into living practice.

Built from world travels and our founding team listening to dreams for seven years, BIMA gathers projects from all over the world to architect the next 100 years.

Knowledge Is a Living Inheritance.

BIMA (Black Indigenous Medicine Apprenticeship) is rooted in the understanding that ancestral knowledge is not simply a record of the past. It is a living inheritance that requires care, practice, relationships, and responsible stewardship.

Our work connects knowledge, people, place, and resources to support the continuity of Black and Indigenous medicine and the development of systems that can serve present and future generations.

Through our interconnected initiatives, we create pathways for knowledge to be stewarded, relationships to deepen, and regenerative possibilities to take shape.

Ancestral Knowledge. Living Practice. Shared Futures.

BIMA works to sustain Black and Indigenous medicine, steward ancestral knowledge, and build regenerative systems that support communities across generations.
